1986 Palermo’s wins the pasta Restaurant of the Year Award.
1986 Palermo’s is recognized in “Chicago Food Favorites: A Guide to 450 Favorite Eating Spots,” A book written by Pat Bruno.
1993 Palermo’s wins the “Quest for the Best Italian Sausage” Award.
Jan 31, 1996 The “Chicago Sun-Times,” food critic Pat Bruno, praises Palermo’s in his article,  “A Globetrotter’s Guide to Great Pizzerias: Want Some Great Spots to Eat Pizza from Chicago to Rome.”
2002 Palermo’s wins the Daily Southtown Finest Reader’s Choice Award for Best Pizza.
Oct 1,2004 The “Chicago Sun-Times” prints an article featuring two pictures of our delicious pizzas and puts Palermo’s first in its list “The Terrific 10” Pizzerias.
